This makes alot more sense and would put the mixing ratio at 16:1. oil not 2-cycle oil,but can someone tell me what mix (ratio) they run in these old engines and if they use modern 2-cycle oil nowadays? Was this motor manufactured by OMC? Where can we get a water pump for it? I have a 10 hp firestone outboard, on the bottom of the head in the water jacket it looks like a freeze plug, is this a freeze plug and should it have a small hole in the center of it?
